Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and creative professional to lead initiatives focused on healing childhood trauma through a psychosocial community mental health approach. The role requires expertise in curriculum design, training facilitation, and ecosystem-building for teachers, social workers, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader capable of designing and implementing trauma-informed care strategies on both state and national levels.
In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders, including social services, law enforcement, government agencies, and NGOs. Your primary objective will be to develop training programs that foster healing through evidence-based interventions while driving systemic change.
Key Responsibilities
Program Development & Strategy:
- Design and lead curriculum development for trauma-informed care training targeted at teachers, social workers, and allied professionals.
- Develop and execute strategic goals to address childhood trauma within a systemic framework.
- Build collaborative networks with government agencies, social services, NGOs, and law enforcement to enhance child protection mechanisms.
Training & Facilitation:
- Oversee and facilitate training workshops at state and national levels.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support trauma recovery and systemic transformation.
Research & Content Development:
- Conduct and oversee research initiatives to support trauma-informed programming.
- Curate and develop content for training materials that align with best practices in child protection and psychosocial healing.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and support.
- Engage with external partners to enhance program effectiveness and sustainability.
Other Responsibilities:
- Adapt to evolving program needs by taking on additional responsibilities as required, aligned with the organization’s mission and vision.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Fine Arts, Sociology, Psychiatric Social Work, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training facilitation, curriculum design, and grassroots interventions focused on childhood trauma.
- Strong managerial and leadership abilities with a proven track record in program execution.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and professional boundaries.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in NGOs or child welfare settings.
- Knowledge of community-based trauma and abuse response resources.
- Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and adopt a systemic perspective.
- Strong leadership qualities with emotional resilience and intellectual humility.
- High ethical standards, reliability, and a commitment to organizational values.
Reporting & Work Environment
- The role reports directly to the Founder Director and collaborates closely with program teams and field staff.
- The position is based in Janakpuri, New Delhi, and requires full-time in-office work.
Remuneration & Benefits
- Salary Range: Rs. 48,000 – Rs. 56,000 per month (commensurate with experience, attitude, and skills).
