About the Role
Are you passionate about strengthening public health systems in rural India? We are looking for a Resource Person – Health to support and enhance the delivery of healthcare services. This role requires working closely with public health stakeholders, frontline workers, and communities to improve health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide programmatic support for effective healthcare service delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including Public Health Centres (PHCs) and Sub-centres.
- Engage with frontline workers (ASHAs, ANMs, CHOs, MOs) to strengthen service delivery at Village Health, Sanitation & Nutrition Days (VHSNDs).
- Conduct needs assessments, planning, and training for health personnel.
- Promote health education, encourage health-seeking behaviors, and foster community ownership of healthcare.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s/Postgraduate degree in a relevant field with 3-5 years of experience in public health and rural healthcare systems.
- Hands-on experience working with public health systems and rural communities.
- Prior experience in RMNCH (Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with PHC staff, frontline workers, and community leaders.
- Capacity-building skills and fluency in Hindi & English.
