About the Role
Are you passionate about early childhood development and nutrition? We are seeking a Nutrition & Birth to Three Expert to play a pivotal role in designing and implementing high-impact interventions for children aged 0-3 years. This leadership position will drive early childhood stimulation and nutritional outcomes for underserved communities in India. Key Responsibilities
1. Curriculum & Content Development
- Lead the creation of age-appropriate curriculum focusing on early childhood stimulation and nutrition.
- Ensure content is evidence-based, culturally relevant, and accessible for low-income communities.
2. Research & Evaluation
- Design and lead monitoring and evaluation (M&E) efforts to measure program impact.
- Plan and execute randomized control trials (RCTs), surveys, and qualitative research to assess effectiveness.
3. Program Strategy & Expansion
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies for scaling interventions effectively.
- Ensure programs align with developmental goals and community needs.
4. Leadership & Team Mentorship
- Manage and mentor a team of 2-3 associates, guiding them in strategy development, content creation, and evaluation activities.
5. Community Engagement & Knowledge Dissemination
- Work closely with field teams to ensure programs are effectively delivered to low-income communities.
- Lead knowledge-sharing efforts with stakeholders, government partners, and field practitioners.
6. Policy & Advocacy
- Represent the organization at national and international conferences focused on early childhood development.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior government stakeholders at both national and state levels.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in early childhood development, focusing on children aged 0-3 years.
- Strong experience in public health research, including the design and execution of RCTs, cross-sectional surveys, and program evaluation studies.
- Master’s or PhD in Public Health, Early Childhood Development, Nutrition, or related disciplines.
- Experience designing curriculum and content for diverse, low-resource audiences (preferred).
